Trover Health System is pleased to welcome Sergio E. Chang Figueroa, M.D., C.C.D., Endocrinologist, to the staff of Trover Clinic and Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Figueroa comes to Trover from Columbia, Missouri, where he completed his fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Board Qualified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Dr.Figueroa also obtained his Clinical Certification in Densitometry.
Dr. Figueroa cares for Endocrinology patients on the 2nd floor of Trover Clinic in the Internal Medicine department with Drs. Natalia Kovtun, Tudor Popescu and Ralph Hines. He will gladly accept new Endocrinology patients as well as admit and follow their care at Regional Medical Center.

Diabetes Self Management Educational Program
The Diabetes Self Management Educational Program meets on Thursdays at the Jack L. Hamman Heart & Vascular Center. We offer a total of 10 hours of education including the one hour individual assessment consult. The classes meet for three consecutive Thursdays and last two and a half hours. Sheila Baker, RDLD and Debbie Brothers, RN, CDE help learn how to better manage their diabetes and focus on meal planning.
