Centering Pregnancy
The Center for Women's Health at Trover Health System is proud to be the exclusive provider of the CenteringPregnancy® prenatal program in Western Kentucky. Centering is a model of prenatal care which empowers women through assessment, education, and support in a small group setting. As a Centering mom, you'll learn about your baby, your body, childbirth, and parenting with other women whose due dates are close to yours. During the sessions, there will be opportunity for you to ask questions, share concerns and learn from other expectant mothers. You won't even need to enroll in special childbirth classes — we'll cover everything in your group! You will meet in 10 group sessions, all which include private time with your doctor or midwife.
